The opportunity to work from home is so enjoyable and rewarding. I truly believe that it's for everyone who has the desire and belief system within themselves that they can do it if they want to. The biggest problem new home based business owners struggle with, is themselves. They bring past failure experiences or low self esteem, or fears of success into the picture and they have to work very hard at overcoming. This is growth from the inside out. I can teach you everything you want to know about internet marketing. But I can't control your thoughts, desires, commitment, things like that. That's the biggest part and I can't help you there. You have to want it for yourself.
There is a learning curve because you are learning new skills. When I wanted to be a paralegal, I had to go to school and learn new skills. It took me awhile to get to the top of my pay scale. But I wanted it bad enough and I did what I needed to do to attract the attention of various law firms for my work. I achieved my goal. When I wanted to be a Realtor, I had to go back to school and learn a completely new set of skills. It took me awhile to get to the top of my pay scale. But I wanted it bad enough and I did what I needed to do to achieve being a top Realtor. I achieved my goal. When I wanted to be a home based business owner and take that online, I had to go back to school. I studied and learned and worked through the learning curve so that I could achieve my goals of staying home and earning a significant income. I achieved my goal. In all three of these real life situations, it wasn't always easy, but it was always worth it. That's what will make you part of the 2% of individuals who make it in this industry.
Focus will dictate your results more than anything else. Prepare yourself to see tons of great offers and new tools. Know when to say no and know when to say yes depending on where you’re at in the your process of learning at the time. Always know where you’re at and choose your next action steps accordingly. I wrote an article on this very topic about buy stuff, I don’t care if it appears to the worlds best internet marketing tool or not. Please read it.
Be mindful of your business hours, fill in your calendar, have control of your business development process. Make sure you're taking time for family, exercise, etc.
I'm assuming you joined Global Resorts Network because you desired a change in your situation, whatever that may be. I hope you'll take this very seriously. One year from today, your life can look very different if you'll do the work it takes to make it happen. This is not a hobby. Global Resorts Network offers a real business opportunity, not just the value of being able to travel for great prices. You decided on Global Resorts Network instead of a McDonalds. It’s that real. And in you put your nose to the grind, work hard, just like you would if you had a brick and mortar business, you have the potential to create a 7 figure income in a few years. True entrepreneurs never treat their business as a hobby. A hobby only "costs money" but a business "makes money". 1) computer skills We are all different and depending on your particular circumstance, you will build your business at your pace. What's important to understand is that those who continue to work their business, wins in the end. Keep yourself focused on your objective and your business. Celebrate every success, no matter how small. Also, I don't think if you went to the bank and asked for a business loan to open a cake shop, you wanted $280K for start up costs and explained the banker, "Mr. Banker, I'm gonna give it my best shot for 60 days and if I'm not raking in the dough, I'm gonna cash it in". No, that's ridiculous. So don't come into your GRN biz with that attitude.
Be professional. Embrace technology. Embrace new experiences. Get out of your comfort zone. Get used to being uncomfortable. If not you’re not uncomfortable, you’re not growing. Embrace leadership. Every problem you come up against, and there will be some so count on it, know that someone else before you has experienced the same thing and found a solution. Become solution oriented. We have all been where you’re at. You have to start somewhere. Good for you for wanting more in life and working hard to have it. With your permission only, I am here to support, guide, direct, offer "next steps", encouragement, constructive criticism, etc. I am not a complaint desk nor am I going to do your business for you. I take my business very seriously and have sought after coaches and leaders in the industry outside of my sponsor to learn from. I've studied lots of materials, I've been to seminars, whatever it took to learn what I needed to learn to take my business and my personal development to the next level. I would expect you to do the same. If you opened a brick and mortar store front on the corner, would you sit back and ask the store owner across the street to run your business? Of course not. It's no different in our relationship. We must take full responsibility for our own success. Having said that, I do offer one on one coaching at no charge for my business partners to keep them on track and help them with a game plan.
I don't have a crystal ball my friend. If you need help, are frustrated, are off track, not focused, I will expect that you will email me and set a time we can discuss it. Again, I'm not your boss, I'm your partner. Partners share. I also want to hear about the good news. I will trust that if I don't hear from you, you have your marketing under control and are busy doing what you need to do.
